A group of conservative media figures including Michael Brendan Dougherty, John Bolton and former White House adviser Stephen Miller are expected to be the first cabinet members to receive approval from the president to become his next top officials.
Trump is expected to sign the five nominees on Thursday, according to a report by Axios, which said the White House is expected at least one of the members of the cabinet to be confirmed by the Senate.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The president has not confirmed any of the Cabinet nominees.
The Trump administration has been under scrutiny for the delay in naming its first president’s cabinet members.
In a series of tweets Friday morning, Trump said he is pleased with his Cabinet picks and said he would be releasing more details later this week.
