I was born and raised in the Boston suburbs.
When I was five, I had to leave home at seven to attend high school.
My parents had an older brother, and they both wanted me to go to a better school.
I had an awesome time, but when I left, I left with a lot of bad habits.
I still have some of those bad habits today.
I’ve had a lot more asthma attacks and my asthma has been worsening.
So, when I got a chance to be at a conference in Boston for my last year, I thought, “I’ll do something.”
I wanted to be able to breathe better, but my lungs have been doing this weird thing for a long time.
It’s hard to explain to a layperson, but I have an extremely high lung volume.
So when I went to the conference, I took my mask off and put it on and breathed really deeply for about 20 minutes.
It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but the hardest part of it was the fact that my lungs were shutting down.
It took a while for the symptoms to clear up, but it felt great.
I started to notice things a little bit more clearly.
I would start feeling the symptoms a little more often, but in general, they just didn’t feel that bad anymore.
They just seemed like I was breathing a little better, and I felt a little less tired.
So then, when the conference came to New York, I was back at my hotel, and it was a different feeling.
I felt like I could breathe a little easier.
I was able to talk more, and the symptoms went away a little.
My lungs were back to normal.
But, my lungs are still shutting down, and my lung function is still deteriorating.
I have a history of lung disease and a history for my heart disease, and those are two major lung diseases.
The thing is, my asthma and my heart have been really bad, too.
I used to have about 10,000 inhalers and two different asthma medications.
Now, I only have about 20.
My lung function and my lungs aren’t the same as they were, so I can’t really talk to people.
But I’ve always been able to find someone who has a similar story.
I remember a guy I used and used to work with, a man who has had multiple lung surgeries and was treated with a number of different medications.
And he had the same story, and he said, “You know, you should talk to your doctor about how your lungs are functioning.”
I had never heard of a guy having a history like that.
I found that story pretty interesting.
I took a look at his medical history, and all of the different drugs that he was on, I noticed that they all had side effects.
I didn’t know what side effects they were.
And I was like, “Wait, this guy just had two lung surgeries, but his lungs are the same.”
I was looking for someone to help me figure out why my lungs weren’t working.
The other day, I decided to give him a call and ask him about it.
And my friend came to me and said, “[Your friend] wants to tell you that you should just give up smoking and stop smoking.”
And I said, [My friend] that’s what I’m going to do.
I’ll do whatever it takes to stop smoking.
I’m not going to let myself have a heart attack, so that’s the plan.
He said, Oh, my God, that sounds terrible.
I said to him, “Well, my mom smokes too.
She’s a great mom, but she also smoked a lot.”
And he said “Oh my God.
That’s so crazy.
What do you do?
What do I do?”
I said [my friend] “Just give up cigarettes.”
And that was the first time that I ever heard that from him.
I knew it was possible, and that was really comforting.
I think I just gave up smoking.
The next time I was in a hospital room, I tried to talk to someone about it, and there was just no one around.
So I went up to the nurse, who was the receptionist.
She came over and was like “You guys are in a terrible place right now.
There’s nothing you can do about it.”
And the nurse said, What?
I said “I don’t have a choice.
I don’t want to quit.”
She said, No, that’s fine.
I could say, “No, I can just give you a chance.
You’re going to have to do what I do.
You have to take it.”
I said okay.
And she was like [I don,t want to].
She was just like, You’re a bad mother, so you should quit.
And that’s exactly what I did.
