A few years ago, I made my living selling custom desktop and laptop cases.
I sold them to anyone who needed one, but they were designed for those with a large collection of them, not the general consumer.
Today, I’d like to help you make your own, which is something I do regularly.
But there are still some limitations, so we’re going to do a bit of a primer on how to make a case that works for you.
The first thing you’ll need is a case, because the materials you’ll be using to build it won’t fit into the box.
You’ll also need a few things: a solid piece of plastic for the bottom of the case, a thick piece of wood for the top, and a thin piece of cardboard for the back.
Plastic Composite Board This is the most basic kind of plastic.
It’s made from a plastic-like material called polyethylene (PE).
PE is a durable plastic that has been chemically treated, which helps to prevent it from becoming brittle and cracking.
You can buy PE from a wide range of suppliers, from major home improvement stores to specialty hardware stores.
If you’re buying from an online retailer, you’ll likely see a few different types of PE.
For our purposes, let’s use PE from the large-volume manufacturers.
It has a nice, thick, and flexible body that can be cut to any length, so it can be used to build a wide variety of different cases.
You won’t need much to build this case, as we’ll use the box below as our base.
For the top of the box, you want a piece of thick cardboard to hold the case together.
Plastic composite board is made of a thick plastic sheet, so the thickness of the cardboard is important.
If your plastic sheet is too thin, the plastic will peel off and fall apart when it hits the concrete floor.
The plastic will have a slightly rounded appearance, so you want to make sure that it doesn’t crack or break during construction.
This is where a thicker piece of paper comes in.
Plastic sheet is much thinner than PE, so using paper will give you a much more stable and uniform thickness.
You don’t want a thin sheet of plastic on top of your board.
We used a thin, flat piece of 1-inch thick plywood, so I could cut it to the desired size and thickness and attach it to my plastic.
The paper was then glued onto the bottom.
The sides of the plastic would have to be flat, so they wouldn’t touch the concrete, which means I had to cut them out with a router.
This made it really easy to cut and assemble the box without a saw.
I also used a saw to drill holes in the front and back of the foam board, as well as holes for the plastic.
You will want to attach this to the foam with a piece that is a few inches in diameter.
You should also use a 3/8-inch drill bit for the holes to make the holes bigger.
Once the holes are drilled, attach the top piece of the paper to the top surface of the bottom piece of PE, and then glue it on.
You want to glue the back piece of a piece so that it can stick to the sides of your case.
This will prevent the foam from separating from the plastic while it’s being cut.
You’re going for a thin plastic piece here, so make sure the piece you choose has a solid core and doesn’t stretch out during the cutting process.
If the paper is too thick to be glued on, you can cut out a thin section of the piece and glue it to one of the holes.
The pieces will then be perfectly aligned.
You also need to make some sure the pieces are evenly spaced apart.
You could make sure they’re on the same side of the board by using some sort of ruler.
I made one with a tape measure and a ruler, and used that to make three rows of holes in my board, then aligned the board with the holes I drilled.
I then cut out two more rows of three holes, using the ruler to mark the width of each.
You need to use a small amount of glue to attach the pieces together.
I used a small strip of electrical tape, which you can use to attach two pieces of cardboard to each other.
I put the cardboard pieces to one side, and the glue to the other.
The glue will keep them from falling apart, so use plenty to ensure that they don’t tear each other apart.
The cardboard pieces can also be glued to the back of your cardboard box, so that the glue will stick to that side of your box as well.
The board is going to be very hard to remove when it’s all assembled.
So it’s a good idea to get a few staples and scissors handy.
When you have everything assembled, it’s time to drill the holes into the foam.
