Greg Robinson said he wasn’t sure if the injury he suffered Sunday would keep him out of the Saints’ Week 4 opener against the Chicago Bears.
Robinson said he was on the field in the second quarter when a helmet-to-helmet hit occurred between his left and right knees.
The tackle was not hurt.
“I think it’s something that I’ll be fine for,” Robinson said.
“I’m going to be fine.”
Robinson is expected to miss the next four weeks.
Robinson was limited in practice Monday and was limited during the team’s Monday minicamp.
The Saints opened training camp on a high note, winning their fifth straight game.
They are on the cusp of matching the franchise record for consecutive victories and their first since a 23-game run in 2011.
They also beat the Detroit Lions 30-20 in Week 1.
